VASES MODULAIRES ARTERY
transposent la géométrie organique des veines et des artères en un système modulaire explorant le mouvement, la connexion et l'équilibre. Conçus pour être utilisés seuls ou imbriqués, ils reflètent l'adaptabilité du corps humain : à la fois indépendant et interdépendant, structuré et fluide. La texture brute du ciment invite au toucher, renforçant leur aspect tactile et artisanal, tandis que le contraste entre les tons naturels et les couleurs vives, comme le bleu cobalt, met en valeur leur forme et la manière dont ils s'assemblent.
YANN SALAMI
est un designer multidisciplinaire basé à Montréal dont la pratique est axée sur la narration culturelle, s'exprimant à travers un design contemporain et fonctionnel.
Inspiré par son héritage africain, sa vision du design est façonnée par une profonde appréciation de la tradition, de l'artisanat et de la manière dont les objets véhiculent une signification culturelle. Cette perspective le guide dans la création d'œuvres qui valorisent la durabilité, les matériaux réfléchis et les liens significatifs entre les personnes, la culture et les objets qui les entourent.

ARTERY MODULAR VASES
translate the organic geometry of veins and arteries into a modular system exploring movement, connection, and balance. Designed to exist independently or interlock as one, they reflect the adaptability of the human body, independent yet interdependent, structured yet fluid. The cement’s rough texture invites touch, reinforcing their tactile, handmade qualities, while the contrast between earthy tones and vivid colors such as cobalt blue highlights both their form and the way they connect.
YANN SALAMI
is a Montreal-based multidisciplinary designer whose practice centers on cultural storytelling, expressed through contemporary, functional design.
Inspired by his African heritage, his perspective on design is shaped by a deep appreciation for tradition, craft, and the ways objects carry cultural meaning. This perspective guides him to create work that values durability, thoughtful materials, and meaningful connections between people, culture, and the objects they live with.
